Feature film documentaries made in Ukraine or co-productions of 60 minutes are accepted for the National Competition.

Feature films of foreign production dedicated to Ukraine, Independence of Ukraine, its history and life, made after 1991, are accepted for the International Competition

The competition program of the independent short films Bardak includes short up to 30 minutes shot without the participation of productions and studios: animated videos, comedies, music videos, musicals, documentaries, and works of art
