The events in the film began on December 31, 1999, when the Russian Federation found out about the new president.
The film is based on documentary evidence of Operation Successor, as a result of which the country received the
president, who rules to this day. The characters of the tape are Mikhail Gorbachev, Boris Yeltsin, Vladimir Putin
and the Russian folk, who are always silent witnesses of their fate.
