The protagonist researcher Dmytro Gromov and the cameraman Angel Angelov are embarking on a dangerous expedition: both have to cross about 50 km of inhospitable desert in order to illegally enter Baikonur’s protected hangars and observe the launch of the rocket.
Angel Angelov is a Ukrainian director, director-cameraman and photographer. After graduating from the faculty of the direction of the documentary films (Kyiv I. Karpenko-Kariy National Theatre, Cinema and Television University ) he began working in the field of documentary and feature films as well as in the sphere of social and commercial advertising for the companies Red Bull, GoPro and Film UA Group. Together with the co-creators (Dmitry Gromov, Mykita Strizhevsky, Artem Baburin) he has been developing and creating the series of documentary films in the genre of urban exploration Insiders Project – Soviet Megamonsters as a director and a cameraman since 2015. He had already had a great experience in filming under extreme conditions as well as in work with similar material by the beginning of the work over the film Breaking into Baikonur
