The film tells about one of the biggest crimes of the Soviet government – the destruction of a powerful art movement that arose in the 20s and 30s in Kharkiv. The most famous artists of Ukrainian culture – writers, poets, artists, directors – lived in the building named “Slovo”. The intelligentsia specially gathered in one place during the next few years were repressed, shot or turned into party singers.
Graduated from the Kyiv State University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after Karpenka-Karogo – the Faculty of Film and Television Arts and the Faculty of Philology of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University.
