Ukrainian film director, author of dozens of documentary and feature films and television films, laureate of the
Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2004), People’s Artist of Ukraine (2008), member of the Taras
Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine Committee. Awardwinner of the Teletriumph in the nomination «Director»
(2003). The Living (2008) film won the Grand Prix of the International North-South Media Forum in Geneva and
was awarded a special prize in the Documentary Film nomination of the VI Golden Apricot International Film
Festival (Yerevan). His 9-series documentary television movie «War. Ukrainian Account» (2003) – received the
Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine
