16-year-old Masha is an 11th-grader attending an ordinary Kyiv school. Her close friends Yana and Senya help her not to feel strange and detached among the classmates, experiencing a busy school life in their own way. In addition to upcoming exams, Masha is forced out of her comfort zone by falling in love with her classmate Sasha. She realizes that if she doesn’t dare, she will never know if the feelings are mutual.

Kateryna Gornostai Studied Biology, and later Journalism at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. After graduation from the School of the Documentary Film and Theater (Moscow) of Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov returned home to Kyiv. Now engaged in educational documentary programs and own documentary and fiction films projects.
